Terms of Sale
Delivery of Parts: Your part is set up for processing the day after your money is received. There is a transition period between collection, and actual receipt of payment by Central Parts Int’l Inc., that does not exceed 5 business days. Please allow 7-14 business days for your part to be received, depending upon circumstances the part may arrive significantly before the allotted time.
Warranty: The warranty covers defective parts and items sent incorrectly. We offer a part replacement limited warranty. NO LABOR COSTS are covered for any parts sold by Central Parts Int’l Inc., and in the event of a defective part, we will first replace the part, and if a replacement cannot be sent we will issue a refund for the part (subject to cancelation fee when applicable).
In the event a part is returned that does not fit the specifications listed in the warranty Central Parts reserves the right to apply a 25% restocking fee and withhold the shipping amounts necessary for the return of said part. Central Parts is not responsible for items delivered to the address obtained at time of purchase.
Items ordered for "testing purposes only" or ordered incorrectly by the customer will not be available for return or refund. Verify with a mechanic or body expert the actual part needed before ordering your part.
Items returned after the warranty period will not be refunded and will be returned back to you at your expense.
Return Policy: Items modified from the original time of purchase will not be available for return. Items returned that are not the original part shipped or that are not in original condition will not be refunded. The exception is limited to damage obtained during shipping. If you receive a damaged part or the incorrect part please notify the sales representative you placed the order with.
Returning the part is the responsibility of the customer. Central Parts Int’l Inc. must be provided with a return tracking number the day the item is returned. The return address will be provided at time of contact with Central Parts int’l Inc. and the part will be shipped to the given address at the customer’s expense. Once the item is returned it will be inspected and upon approval a credit will be issued that is subject to a restocking fee.
Part Specific Warranty Policy
Engines: We only guarantee the long block. Manifolds, gaskets, seals, hoses, timing belts and covers, oil pan, and fuel injection or carburetors are not covered. Accessories such as but not limited to Turbos, Starters, Air Compressors, Alternators, Power Steering Pumps, etc.. are not included nor under warranty in regards to the sale and/or warranty of an engine. If these parts are purchased separately they will be under a 30 day warranty. Central Parts Int’l Inc. is not responsible for anything other than the long block when an engine is purchased, unless the parts are bought separately.
Transmissions: Returned transmissions must come with documentation from an Authorized Transmission Specialist or Mechanic. Replace oil filter in all automatic transmissions. All seals and gaskets should be replaced prior to installation. Flush & flow test cooler and lines. Fully engage torque converter in front pump. Manual transmissions should be fitted with a new clutch, pressure plate, and slave cylinder. You should also have your fly wheel turned prior to installation. Fill and check fluid levels. Carburetors: We guarantee the ability to be rebuilt only.
Instrument Clusters: We do not guarantee mileage. Central Parts Int’l Inc. will not return or refund any units until the customer can provide written documentation from an Authorized Dealer proving that the part was reprogrammed and still not functioning properly.
Struts: Struts are sold with a working condition warranty only. Shocks may need to be replaced at the buyer’s expense to improve ride quality.
Body Parts: Doors-We only guarantee the door shell. Other body parts such as hoods, fenders, and bumpers are not guaranteed to come with hinges, hood ornaments, latches, trim, or grilles. Color: Specific colors may be requested along with a trim or paint code. COLOR IS NOT GUARANTEED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. We recommend that any body parts be repainted to match your vehicle. Body parts that do not match the color of your vehicle will not be available for return or refund.
